Why promote a company but not add a link?
Now that’s just cool.
This is by far one of the most awesome things … just ever?

So I went to Comic Con this weekend. It was more fun then I could have imagined. Here are some of the things I saw. (If they were you just tell me and I can put your name in or something - i am not sure of the proper etiquette)
I became Batman and Crystal was my Robin

Julie Newmar was fabulous.

This was amazing

I chased an eight foot tall Chewy

Really good Bioshock Big Daddy helped our “Comic con bingo”
And this guy

I think he disliked me because he was so warm in his helmet so I am sorry!

A note to Crystal: I cannot say this enough but thank you soooo much for coming with me! And even more so for not making feel like a big ol’idiot when I had to ask you stupid questions or when I was freaking out about Burt Ward and the batmobile. I hope we do this every year together!!!

A lot of people give me the side eye for liking New Girl and it really needs to stop. This is an amazing comedy with Emmy nominated actors that a lot of critics are calling the best comedy on television this year. It is 100% worth your time. And when I mention that I like it, a lot of people act like I’m some kind of comedy sell out, which is the opposite of true.
Isn’t it really mainstream? First of all, I don’t know what you mean by mainstream. Does mainstream mean predictable? Because the show absolutely isn’t that. Does mainstream mean based on stereotypes? Because these are some of the most unique and deeply flawed characters I’ve seen on TV in a while embarking on some of the strangest adventures I’ve ever seen. Does mainstream mean a show with a laugh track, cute kid, and talking dog? Well, this show definitely doesn’t have that stuff. What it does have is a cancer scare episode, a drinking game that’s deeply rooted in American history, and an episode that revolves around a time that one guy gave another guy a cookie. And secondly, why is mainstream bad? Doesn’t mainstream just mean a lot of people enjoy it? Because Seinfeld was mainstream, Friends was mainstream, The Office is mainstream. Are those shows bad. I don’t think so.
“I hated Zooey Deschanel in 500 Days of Summer” Again, I feel like you’re not grasping the point. Jess is not Summer. Jess is not a manic pixie dream girl, nor is she a direct deconstruction of the stereotype like she was in 500 Days of Summer. Jess is a young woman who, to quote the woman herself, breaks for birds, rocks a lot of polka dots, and has touched glitter in the past 72 hours but that doesn’t mean she’s not smart and tough and strong. She’s also a woman who isn’t afraid to tell you what she thinks, who cares about her friends, who got fired from her job and picked herself back up. Jess Day wears cute dresses and she likes to sing, but she also jumped on a presumed serial killer’s back to save her roommate’s life so she’s not exactly a lightweight.
Adorkable? Yeah, the show’s original ad campaign focused on the idea that Jess is a wacky girl who’s roommates just can’t handle how wacky she is. But what the series actually is about is a group of friends who become a family. They bond over the fact that they are all on some level broken and are all having a lot of difficulty growing up. They’re 30 year old adults and they’re all single with roommates,. None of them are normal. Winston once suggested that they release a bear that they shoot up with Hep C into a restaurant to stop their friends from going on a date. Nick got drunk at the zoo in an attempt to become Ernest Hemingway. Cece knows a guy who can get you a box of dolphin steaks or a mostly white baby. This show is about a time in your life where your friends become your family and you hang on to them. All the characters are equally flawed and need each other to move on past the things that have hurt them.
I really love this show. The writing is amazing and the performances are stellar. I look forward to it every week because spending a half hour with these characters is always fun. Whether they’re fighting over their apartment’s one parking spot or they’re crashing an Indian wedding convention, I’m going to enjoy it and I’m going to relate to it.
This show is worth your time. Don’t be afraid to give it a chance.
This wins all the awards. I applaud you, and am now following you.
Can we give a standing ovation please?
Without a doubt, Missa.

Sure Jess loves to sing, but what would life in the loft look like if everyone got in on the action? Watch the auto-tune remix here to find out! Subscribe no…
I am sure everyone has seen this by now… But now this is stuck in my head so deal with it.
5th new girl gif in your folder represents your feelings towards canned vegetables. That is all.

“Just To Be Close To You” - Backstreet Boys
This is for Crystal… Because she didn’t know what I was talking about. Also, because its amazing. I miss you childhood.
Still a week until New Girl. Trying to keep myself together. Is it sad if my life is revolving around a TV Show? Not this one though right? Trying to avoid spoilers… I can do this right?
